Training on Leadership Strategies for Elementary Schools in Times of Crisis

In collaboration with the Gunungkidul District Education Office, the Department of Educational Administration, Faculty of Education (FIP), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), organized a Training on Leadership Strategies for Elementary Schools in Times of Crisis on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. The event was held virtually through the Zoom Meeting platform.

This program was part of the lecturers’ Community Service (PkM) initiative aimed at extending academic contributions beyond the campus. The activity was chaired by Dr. Slamet Lestari, M.Pd., with team members Dr. Suyud, M.Pd., Dr. Dwi Esti Andriyani, Ed.D., Pandit Isbianti, M.Pd., and Baiquni Rahmat, M.Pd., supported by students from the Educational Management Study Program.

The training featured several key topics delivered by the academic team, including:

  1. School Leadership in the Early Phase of Crisis – by Dr. Dwi Esti Andriyani, Ed.D.
  2. Challenges of School Leadership During Crisis – by Pandit Isbianti, M.Pd.
  3. School Leadership Strategies in Times of Crisis – by Baiquni Rahmat, M.Pd.
  4. School Leadership in the Post-Crisis Period – by Dr. Slamet Lestari, M.Pd.

The program aimed to enhance the capacity of elementary school leaders in managing educational institutions effectively during and after crisis situations, fostering adaptive and resilient leadership practices.
